Crossing the Mountains to Boumalne Dades After breakfast, we set out from Marrakech, crossing the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka pass, a route that slices through stunning mountain vistas. Our journey leads us to Aït Ben Haddou—a timeless Berber fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its cinematic fame in productions like Lawrence of Arabia and Game of Thrones. After soaking up its historic clay walls and ancient charm, we continue on to Boumalne Dades, where you’ll spend the night in a characterful kasbah with sweeping views of the majestic Atlas Mountains.

Trekking the Dades Valley – Into the Wild The real journey begins with a five-day trek through the awe-inspiring Dades Valley. Each day offers around five hours of hiking at altitudes between 1,900 and 2,000 meters, with much of the route traversing untouched trails for an authentic and intimate experience. Routes can be tailored to your pace and preference—from relaxed paths to gentle climbs. Along the way, we’ll pause for hearty lunches and traditional mint tea with welcoming Berber families. At night, sleep under a blanket of stars in cozy tents or opt for rustic guesthouses.

A Pause in Boumalne Dades By afternoon, we return to Boumalne Dades, offering you a chance to relax and recharge. Whether you unwind with a quiet moment or soak in the landscape from your kasbah, this evening invites stillness. Your overnight stay includes breakfast to greet you gently the next morning.

Exploring Ouarzazate – Cinema & Culture Following breakfast, we head toward Ouarzazate with a stop at the beautiful Kasbah of Skoura—an impressive example of Moroccan fortress architecture surrounded by palm trees. In Ouarzazate, often dubbed the Hollywood of Morocco, we visit open-air film studios that hosted scenes from Gladiator, and explore the storied Taourirt Kasbah. Your evening is spent in a peaceful kasbah encircled by lush palm groves—an ideal spot to reflect before the final leg of your adventure.
